Camila Cabello will seek to thwart The Greatest Showman’s two-week run atop the ARIA Albums Chart with the release of her debut record Camila last Friday. The album comes after the tremendous success of 5x Platinum single ‘Havana’ ft. Young Thug, which stayed at #1 on the Singles Chart for three weeks.
Sydney pop punk group Tonight Alive will return to the ARIA Albums Chart this week following the release of their fourth full-length album Underworld. It will vye for a spot in a heavily-crammed Top 10 amongst the likes of Post Malone and Sam Smith. Previous albums Limitless and The Other Side both peaked in the Top 10, showing good signs for the new release.
Also looking for a Top 10 debut is Black Veil Brides’ Vale, as well as the original cast recording for Muriel’s Wedding: The Musical. Legendary guitarist Joe Satriani will push for a spot in the Top 20 with his new release What Happens Next, while Black Rebel Motorcycle Club’s Wrong Creatures is on its way to the Top 30.
On to singles, Troye Sivan is back and better than ever with new track ‘My My My!’. The freedom anthem is set to debut in the Top 10 on the Singles Chart this week. Meanwhile, the newest cut off Camila ‘Never Be The Same’ is also looking at a respectable debut in the Top 20.
Bruno Mars & Cardi B’s collaborative effort ‘Finesse’ won’t be stopped this week as it continues to climb the Singles Chart. Currently at #15, a move into the Top 10 looks likely. Moving up to take the catchy tune’s place will be Keala Settle & The Greatest Showman Ensemble with the original rendition of ‘This Is Me’ taken from the soundtrack.
