John Bennett, Bradley Hall, lead 2019 WA NAIDOC award noms

Karrajarri man John Bennett and Nyiyaparli man Bradley Hall lead the nominations for the WA NAIDOC music awards, with four apiece.

Bennett is up for best song, album, vocalist and male artist while Hall vies for best song, male artist, music video and band/group.

They’re held on Friday September 6 at the Freo.Social, in Fremantle.

Flewnt and Jamahl Ryder follow with three noms each.

Two apiece go to Indigo-Ellis, JoKeria, MissGenius, Theona Councillor, and Zero Emcee.

Performing on the night are alt-rockers The Struggling Kings, hip hop MC Flewnt, last year’s “undiscovered” winner Cameron Wilkes, Indigo-Ellis, Natasha Eldridge and singer songwriter and didige player Phil Walley-Stack.
