96fm announces stacked line up for kick start summer concert

Australian rock legend Jimmy Barnes is set to headline Perth radio station 96FM’s Kick Start Summer Concert at Ascot Racecourse on Sunday November 12.

Joining Barnes on the bill is an iconic selection of household Aussie names including Ian Moss, Daryl Braithwaite, Thirsty Merc, Phil Jamieson from Grinspoon, and local Perth band End of Fashion.

The rock-centered line-up follows ARN’s decision to reorient 96FM’s music focus to modern rock at the start of the year.

96FM breakfast duo Carmen & Fitzi will present the event, which enters it’s second year.

“Each day here at 96FM, we’re all about sharing the best music and content with our listeners,” said Fitzi. “We live and breathe good rock music – and for me personally, I’m so excited to see this incredible Aussie rock line-up perform on stage.”

“It’s a music lover’s dream, and one we can’t wait to be involved in. Bring on November!” Carmen added.

Tickets for Kick Start Summer Concert go on sale to the general public on Friday July 28.
