The leading independent and innovative music education provider, Australian Institute of Music (AIM) partners with brand new Music Event and Conference, Australian Music Week (AMW) to be held in Cronulla, New South Wales 18th – 21st November, 2015 with their own special showcase on Friday 20th November at 3:30pm.

“This is a very important alliance and partnership for the Australian Institute of Music as the Conference covers all the spectrums of courses on offer by the Australian Institute of Music” says Brad Edwards, Marketing Manager, AIM.  “To have a dedicated industry conference held in Sydney, featuring the best and brightest professionals discussing and bestowing their knowledge and experience to our students is immeasurable and we look forward to working with AMW to ensure the best results for all”, says Edwards.

“The courses that AIM offer is precisely where AMW is positioned, to nurture the next generation of industry professionals and artists coming through”, says Conference Co-Director, Geoff Trio. “In addition to accessing some of the most experienced professionals in the industry, AIM will also have their own dedicated showcase for their emerging talent to perform to, in front of the industry, as well as get hands-on experience in various volunteer roles throughout the Conference”, says Conference Co-Director Scott Mesiti.

There are over 50 industry professionals speaking at the Conference and in excess of 100 artists of all genres, performing throughout venues in Cronulla during the Conference, topped off by the Hi Fi Days Concert in Gunnamatta Park featuring UB40, The Bamboos, Phil Jamieson, The Snowdroppers, Caravana Sun and Fripps & Fripps.

The various Conference discussion panels range from: Songwriting and Production, Management, Agents/Promoters/Venues and Festivals, Digital Marketing, Crowdfunding, Media (Radio, Print, TV, online), Publishing and Synchronisation, Record Labels and Distribution, Legal and Financial, Brand partnerships and sponsorships.
