Users of the Amazon Music app can now request songs by voice, with the app now incorporating Alexa capability.
Subscribers to Amazon Music can now use the voice feature to request songs by mood or genre on the go or wherever they are.
To play music through a variety of voice requests, users need simply tap the Alexa icon on the Amazon App and speak.

Requests can include, but are not limited to the following;
- Music by song name: “play ‘New Rules’ by Dua Lipa”
- Album title: “play the album Go Farther in Lightness”
- Artist name: “play Troye Sivan”
- Playlist or station: “play the ‘Made in Australia’ playlist” or “play the ‘Classic Australian Rock’ station”
- Mood: “play happy music” or, “play sad music”
- Genre or decade: “play pop music from the 80s”
- Popularit
y: “play the most popular songs by Sia” - Chronolog
y: “play the latest song by Angus & Julia Stone”
The Amazon Music app is available from the app store for iOS or the Play Store for android devices, with more info available at the official website.
