Angus & Julia Stone have ticked off yet another checkbox in their acclaimed career as a duo, with the lead single ’Chateau’ from their 2017 record SNOW going Platinum in Australia.

The news comes off the back of the brother-sister act adding a second show in Melbourne and a third show in Sydney for their upcoming Australian tour. The tour is all-but sold out.

SNOW peaked at #2 on the ARIA Albums charts, following peaks at #1 for Angus & Julia Stone’s previous two albums.

All three of their albums prior to SNOW reached ARIA Platinum album status, with 2010’s Down The Way going 3x Platinum.

’Chateau’ also hit #3 on triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2017.

The official video for the track stars rising Australian stars Courtney Eaton (Mad Max: Fury Road) and Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things).

Recently Angus & Julia Stone’s 2010 single ’Big Jet Plane’ was certified Gold in the US.
