APRA AMCOS’ national ‘Meet The Locals’ for songwriters to mix it up with music biz pros

Meet The Locals, a series of national events hosted by APRA AMCOS, is designed for songwriters eager to further develop their music career by meeting face-to-face with top music industry experts.

It allows them to get valuable tips on funding opportunities, booking gigs, industry advocacy, self-management, pitching your songs to media and more.

“Both the attendees and the industry reps benefit from the connections made on the evening," says Chris O’Neill, National Manager of Writer Services at APRA AMCOS.

The experts confirmed include those from Victoria’s music and arts government body Creative Victoria, distributor Ditto Music, Brisbane community radio station 4ZZZ, booking and tour agency Select Music, independent publisher  Perfect Pitch and South Australia’s’ Music Development Office.
