ARIA Singles
The Singles chart will see an uncharacteristically high debut next week with 5 Seconds Of Summer’s She’s Kinda Hot set to debut in the Top 3. Calvin Harris’ How Deep Is Your Love featuring The Disciples is also set to see a rather strong debut in the Top 15. Lost Frequencies could crack #1 next week depending on how strong 5SOS debuts, and if Meghan Trainor can maintain strong enough sales with Like I’m Gonna Lose You featuring John Legend. Pia Mia’s Do It Again featuring Chris Brown & Tyga will see a jump into the Top 15 while Aston Merrygold’s Get Stupid and Years & Years’ Shine are both set to crack the Top 30.
ARIA Albums
It looks like Tame Impala could have their very first #1 on their hands next week with Currents set to debut in the Top 3 and very likely at #1. It would mean the band will have finally beaten their previous peak of #4 on the ARIA Albums chart where previous albums Innerspeaker and Lonerism have peaked. Also set for a Top 3 debut, though by the looks of sales not as strong, could be The Chemical Brothers with Born In The Echos. The next highest debut isn’t set to enter till the Top 10 with Ms Mr’s How Does It Feel. No strong movement is expected until the Top 25 where Josh Groban’s Stages is likely to move up.
