PRESS RELEASE: 

The Australia Council for the Arts are holding discussion sessions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and cultural leaders to talk about the futures for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts.

The Australia Council seeks to reflect a culturally ambitious nation and would like to talk to ATSI artists about their ambitions for their culture, arts and communities. This national conversation is important to the work of the Australia Council and to the arts sector more broadly. 

They will also be available to talk with you about the new Australia Council grant funding programs and how they can help you to achieve your ambitions.

The Brisbane forum will be held:

Date: Friday 20 February
Time: 10.00am -3.00pm
Venue: Meeting Room 1 B,  State Library Stanley Place, South Bank Brisbane
