Australian Music Week (AMW) conference offers a number of exciting and informative industry panels paired with a showcase of some of the country’s best upcoming musical talent and is a not to be missed opportunity for industry hopefuls.

Alongside the main conference, AMW is hosting some extracurricular sideshows, including the HiFi Days Festival, which is free entry for all ages. Additionally, Studios 301 is giving one emerging artist the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win the chance to secure the opening slot of the HiFi Days Festival, plus a recording and mastering package at Studios 301, as well as passes to the AMW conference. The competition will open on Monday 19th September. The festival will have a fully licensed area, delicious gourmet food available and boasts an impressive line-up including:

The HiFi Days Festival will be held on Sunday 6th November from 12:00pm in Cronulla Park, Cronulla. For more information and full artist bio’s HERE

Australia’s leading jazz vocalist Vince Jones will be giving a special intimate concert in the lead up to the festival on Saturday 5th November at St. Andrews Church, Cronulla, doors open at 7:30pm. Throughout Vince’s career, he’s toured internationally to packed out audiences and continued to touch people with his music over the years. Now he’s back in Sydney to share his craft and showcase his incredible voice. Tickets available HERE

Just around the corner in The Brass Monkey, Cronulla, Australian Music Week and The AU Review presents the special screening and live soundtrack performance of the new film ‘I Am Blues’ featuring Ray Beadle and Chris Cain. The screening also takes place on the Saturday 5th November - Doors open at 7:00pm. The film visits blues musicians rooted in the genre’s hay-day, many in their 80s, still living in the American deep south and touring the Chitlin’ Circuit. This is one not to be missed.
