Australia’s Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Methyl Ethel were nominated for the AIM (Association of Independent Music) Awards. They’re held in central London on September 5 for the seventh time. 

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds got three noms, as did grime star Stormzy, rapper Dave and singer, songwriter and guitarist Jane Weaver. Up for two are pop singer and electronic producer Sampha and rapper / actress Little Simz.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ Skeleton Tree is up for Independent Album of the Year, and they’re vying against:
