Some of the most celebrated and newest acts will celebrate the 10th edition of The Age Music Victoria Awards next month.
Taking place at 170 Russell on 11 November, global export Courtney Barnett, New Zealand crooner Marlon Williams, along with Victorian hip-hop artist Briggs, rising indie artist Harts, EG Allstars and guest singers including Ben Salter, Olympia and Emma Donovan will preform live on the same stage for the Awards’ 10th year.
For the first time, the public and genre awards, recognising folk, experimental music and everything in between, will be combined in one massive show at the Melbourne venue.
Public voting for the Awards, which is the largest publicly voted music awards event in the country, opens at The Age and Music Victoria websites from Friday, October 9, and runs until Friday, November 6.
A limited release of 300 tickets will be available to the public at 170 Russell.
The event will be co-presented by Triple R 102.7FM and PBS 106.7FM.
