PRESS RELEASE:

BIGSOUND Live tickets are Brisbane’s hottest property as punters snap up the opportunity to catch Australia’s newest buzz bandsalongside 1200 international music industry delegates, with news today that industry tickets have now sold out.

BIGSOUND is Australia’s biggest musical party with just a couple of hundred BIGSOUND Live tickets still available to punters who want to join the opportunity to see their choice of 150 bands overtwo nights, September 9 and 10 in fifteen of Fortitude Valley’s best venues.

The BIGSOUND app has also gone live this week for both iOS and Android, allowing punters to curate their timetable to ensure they make the most of their two-night experience with bands including Gang of Youths, Holy Holy, Katy Steele, Stonefield, Cosmic Psychos, High Tension, The John Steel Singers and 143 other selections to consider.

BIGSOUND Live also welcomes triple j Unearthed winners, hip hop star-in-waiting Gill Bates and shoegaze/noisepop band DEAFCULT to the line up along with last minute additions Kingfisha andGabriella Cohen.

BIGSOUND has long been the breeding ground for some of the biggest Australian acts of the last decade, with national and international industry and punters converging on Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley to scout the next big thing. BIGSOUND alumni includes Courtney Barnett, Flume, Seth Sentry, Sheppard, The Jezabels, The Naked and Famous, The Temper Trap, The Aston Shuffle, The Church, Adalita, Ball Park Music, Jungle Giants, Boy & Bear, Clare Bowditch, David Bridie, Closure in Moscow, Kingswood, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Megan Washington, with nearly a thousand bands playing over BIGSOUND’s fourteen year history.
