The Hunter Valley’s iconic Roche Estate has today announced ‘Crossroads In the Vines’, a new festival series bringing together the biggest names in country and blues for two massive days of music, food and entertainment.

Crossroads Country in the Vines will take place on March 24, welcoming Billy Ray Cyrus, Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers, John Williamson, The McClymonts, Sara Storer, Adam Harvey and Beccy Cole.

Crossroads Blues in the Vines on February 10 will host seven-time Grammy Award winner Buddy Guy (US), Ian Moss, Diesel, Russell Morris, Richie Kotzen (US), Larkin Poe (US), Ted Mulry Gang, Kevin Borich and Mia Dyson.

More acts are expected to be announced closer to the events.

Crossroads Country in the Vines sees Billy Ray Cyrus returning to Australia for the first time in eighteen years - and it’s a place he holds very dear.

“Back in 1993 was when I kicked off my world tour in March in Australia, so now 25 years later it just kinda felt like the right thing to do at the right time," he explained.

“I love the fans there. They love their music, they love their football, they love the arts. It’s a great country with great people and we love coming down there and playing!”

Roche Estate are no strangers to pairing good food and wine with even better music, playing host to the likes of Elton John, Neil Diamond, Lionel Richie, Duran Duran, KD Lang, Rod Stewart and Cat Stevens previously.

According to organisers, the ‘Crossroads in the Vines’ events will bring the very best country and blues music, artisan markets and food stalls to their brand-new home - under the stars of Australia’s Hunter Valley wine region.

Tickets for both Crossroads in the Vines events go on sale on August 9am August 24 from Oztix. Exclusive pre-sale tickets are available to Crossroads In the Vines members from August 17 with pre-registration now available at the website.
