brisbanes trainspotters re launching with two new bookers

PRESS RELEASE:

For the last two and a half years, a weekly event held at Brisbane's Grand Central Hotel has been the staple for local and touring emerging and undergound acts. Aptly named Trainspotters for it's location underneath the Brisbane Central Train Station - the event has showcased some of Australia's best musical acts as well as touring international acts on Thursdays and Saturdays, including Velociraptor, Drunk Mums, Step-Panther, The Coathangers (US), Scotdrakula, The Love Junkies, Major Leagues, Tonstartssbandht (US), Rolls Bayce, Morning Harvey, Day Ravies and The Creases.

From April, Trainspotters is re-launching with two new bookers, a new PA system, and a whole bunch of great shows on the books. With the help of Matt Ford from Tenth Courth Records, Thigh Master, and Per Purpose booking every Saturday night and Tara Wardrop from Brisbane psych legends Dreamtime taking over Thursdays, Trainspotters promises to keep bringing the student friendly prices, rad bands, and house party attitude every week with a brand new PA system.

APRIL 2 – Wasters, Skinniefinches, Yellowcatredcat

APRIL 11 – Scraps, Brainbeau, Nana Vigilante, Scissor

APRIL 16 – Big Bad Echo, Houses, On VHS

APRIL 18 – Hurst, Dead Wolves, Pyre & Ice, Rohan

APRIL 23 – Ultra Material, Forevr, Cedie

APRIL 25 – Black Springs!, Keep On Dancins, Blonde Tongues

APRIL 30 – White Lodge, Doom Mountain, Donny Love
