Chugg Entertainment is bringing YouTube FanFest to Australia, a live event which showcases artists that gained success via the video streaming hub.

FanFest launched in Singapore last May, with a Mumbai show last month. The event is now expanding to cover more of the Asia Pacific, with two dates in Singapore, a Sydney Luna Park show on May 31, and further dates set to be announced.

The event combines music, dance, comedy, fashion, education and more, with YouTube stars such as comedian Jenna Marbles, musician/comedian Tobuscus and Australian vocalist Troye Sivan among those appearing.

Michael Chugg, CEO of Chugg Entertainment says of the innovative festival: "I have been promoting live shows for more than 50 years and I am constantly excited by new opportunities that are becoming a part of the touring landscape. YouTube FanFest is the perfect example of that - it’s a completely unique concept and provides a live platform for talent that fans could previously only interact with online. I love the fact that we can bring these online superstars to life in front of their Australian fans, it’s going to be a huge day."

Tickets go on sale May 1. Full lineup, and links to their YouTube channels, below.
