claptone announces first ever sydney headline show the masquerade

The intriguing and mysterious Claptone has topped bills at a slew of Sydney festivals in the past, including Listen Out and Harbourlife, but now the German DJ and producer has finally announced his first solo show in the city; Claptone: The Masquerade.

The show promises to be a theatrical spectacle, with fire-twirlers, stilt-walkers and an acrobatic extravaganza on show - and of course, full masquerade ball dress code for attendees.

The event is taking place at UNSW’s newly renovated venue The Roundhouse, and a killer lineup of special guests and supports is still yet to be announced.

Claptone is gearing up for the release of his second record Fantast later in 2018, and has aleady released the leade single ’In The Night’.

It follows his debut album Charmer which has garnered over 60 million streams.

Claptone: The Masquerade is a one-off show in Australia, and is part of a wider run of shows accross the globe, with tickets going on sale today.
