Coles Radio to increase amount of Australian music played during Ausmusic Month
Coles Radio will also play exclusively Australian music on November 30.

Coles Radio has announced that it will be increasing the amount of Australian music played during the entirety of Ausmusic Month.
The station, programmed by NOVA entertainment, will finish Ausmusic Month - taking place throughout November - by playing exclusively Australian artists on November 30.
Coles' CMO, Lisa Ronson, said she's proud to use Coles Radio - one of the country's top commercial digital stations - to amplify Aussie voices.
“We have more Australian talent than ever coming through the airwaves and inspiring customers both in and out of the supermarket," she added.
The move by Coles Radio comes shortly after competitor Woolworths relaunched Woolies Radio, in partnership with ARN. Woolworths Radio was announced on the first day of Ausmusic Month, with the broadcaster also promising to play a notable amount of Australian music.
In August, Coles Radio committed to playing more Australian artists after Jack River's social media campaign pushing for the Channel 7 to feature more Australian music during its coverage of the Olympics.

“And while we’re here," River wrote, "how good would it be to hear Aussie music in Coles, Woolies, Aldi, in banks, on hold, in stores and on ads being show to Australians for the next few months?"
Coles responded to River's callout, telling The Music Network that the organisation was "moved by Jack River’s comments about the impact of COVID on the Australian music industry and have added even more amazing Aussie tracks to Coles Radio this week to show [their] support”.
