digital chart wrap omi moves to top all digital charts

OMI’s Cheerleader maintains its hold on #1 this week but The Avener’s Fade Out Lines has made progress up to #2 from #4. Hozier’s Take Me To Church maintains its stronghold on #3 for a second week now. The latest single from Robin Schulz, Sun Goes Down jumps to #5 from #20 this week, no doubt linked to the recent boost in commercial airplay. Also making some notable movement is Avicii’s The Nights, which makes the move from #34 to #13, as well as Taylor Swift’s Style, jumping from #47 to #16, both on their second week in the Shazam 100. The Top 50 sees four new debuts this week. The first comes from Chris Brown & Tyga with Ayo entering at #33, followed by Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do at #38, The Very Best’s Hear Me at #47 and Kelly Clarkson’s Heartbeat Song at #50.

The ARIA Streaming chart sees a stagnant Top 3 this week with the same artists holding the top spots. At #1 is Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk, #2 is Hozier’s Take Me To Church and Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud sits at #3. The first movement comes at #4 with OMI’s Cheerleader, which is likely to be the next #1 in coming weeks if every other sales and airplay chart is anything to go off. Kygo’s Firestone featuring Conrad makes a healthy jump to #14 from #27 and Nicki Minaj’s Bed Of Lies returns to #22 from #28, just falling short of its previous best by three positions. A new debut can be seen this week at #38 from Jeremih’s Don’t Tell Em featuring YG.
