Your Shot is back for 2015, continuing its quest across the east coast of Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane), to find Australia’s next top DJ.  Now in its sixth season, Your Shot, a competition unlike any other, offers young guys and girls a shot at the big time - to become DJs capable of playing at the best clubs and festivals all over Australia and the best part - no DJ experience is necessary to enter, with 6 weeks FULL DJ training provided.  With each contestant learning the basic skills behind DJ’ing, it’s truly a life changing experience for all involved.

To make absolutely certain that the contestants are set on the right path to DJ stardom, they’ll be in for the opportunity of a lifetime to be crowned: ‘Your Shot Champion’ and play international DJ sets at either: Snowbombing (Austria), BPM (Mexico), Groove Cruise (USA), VH1 Supersonic (India), Chasing Summer (Canada), or Your Paradise (Fiji); as well as becoming local stars with their own sets at Stereosonic 2015.

Your Shot 2014 saw crowds of over 12,000 attend the state events, and registrations closed early, due to a whopping 7,500+ applications received in less than 3 weeks – more than X Factor and Australian Idol.

In 2015, Your Shot will take 82 new contestants from each state and put them through a 6 week full DJ training course at the exclusive ‘Your Shot Academy.’ Once armed with the skills, they will perform a set at a two day ‘YOUR SHOT’ event in their state.  The ‘YOUR SHOT’ event will showcase some of the best headline and resident DJs from Australia, as well as the best in up-and-coming talent.  

With around the clock sets from all DJ hopefuls, each contestant will give it their all in the hopes of taking home the title of ‘Your Shot Champion’, along with a host of life changing prizes of an unprecedented scale, including:
