Drake continues to set new chart and streaming records in the United States with his More Life playlist/album project.

After its March 18 release, More Life debuted at #1 and set a streaming record with 385 million plays, according to Nielsen. All 22 tracks from the set, as well as two others, hit the Hot 100 simultaneously. This was a new record for the most amount of Hot 100 debuts in a week.

More Life earned a total of 505,000 album equivalent units combinations of pure sales, track downloads and streams. Apple Music reported 90 million streams in the first 24 hours.

These numbers are the largest since Drake’s last album Views last year. It sold 1 million units in its first week, which included 245 million streams – a new record at the time.

The stats for More Life also nudged the Canadian rapper past Lil Wayne’s tally of 135 for most charted titles among soloists.

According to Billboard, the acts with the most entries in the Hot 100 are:

  1. Glee Cast (207)
  2. Drake (154)
  3. Lil Wayne (135)
  4. Elvis Presley (108)
  5. James Brown (91)
  6. Jay-Z (87)
  7. Chris Brown (82)
  8. Kanye West (81)
  9. Nicki Minaj (77)
  10. Ray Charles (75)

More Life went on to better first week streams, with 190 million in the US, exceeding the milestone set by The Weeknd’s Starboy.

Globally, Drake’s entire catalogue moved 461 million streams first week, breaking a new catalogue benchmark set by Ed Sheeran.
