Dustin Tebbutt announced as Rdio’s Artist To Watch for September

This September, Dustin Tebbutt will be thrust into the limelight as Rdio’s Artist To Watch. Joining the ranks with some of Australia’s leading artists, Rdio is pleased to welcome Dustin into the Artist To Watch family which supports Australia’s best up-and-coming talent.

It has been nearly two years since Dustin’s acclaimed debut EP, The Breach, set the local music scene alight, garnering rave reviews and a sizeable fan base. His indie folk tunes, recorded in the depths of a Scandinavian winter, captured imaginations across Australia. Dustin then released follow-up EP, Bones, in May 2014 which led him to high rotation on Triple J and slots at Splendour in the Grass 2014 and 2015.

This September, fans will be given an exclusive glimpse into Dustin’s world. Thanks to exclusive playlists created for Rdio, fans will be able to hear Dustin’s picks for his top 5 artists’ to watch and a selection of musical influences that helped him to craft his sound and forth-coming debut mini-album, Home.

Home is the lead title-track of an imminent seven song mini-album from the respected Australian singer/songwriter, set to be released on 18th September, alongside a five-date national tour. Playing to the largest venues of his career, fans can look forward to witnessing just how much Dustin’s song writing and live performances have progressed with experience. To get listeners excited for his mini-album and the tour, Dustin’s existing catalogue will be championed on Rdio throughout September, giving fans easy access to his signature sounds.

Launched in Australia this year, Rdio’s Artist To Watch program is an ongoing initiative that features a series of handpicked local and international artists which Rdio supports in their development and success.
