Melbourne artist Ecca Vandal has signed a global publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Australia (UMPG).
Vandal’s self-titled debut album was released in October and featured hits including ’Future Heroine’, ’Your Orbit’ and ’Broke Days, Party Nights’ - while it was also triple j’s feature album of the week.
“Ecca Vandal is one of the most exciting Australian artists around today," said UMPG Australia and New Zealand vice president of creative Arwen Curson.
"Constantly pushing musical boundaries, she and co-writer, Richard Buxton, have been high on our priority list since I first joined UMPG and we are beyond thrilled to finally announce that they have joined our incredible roster.
"This signing is the cherry on the top of the most delicious cake of a year for UMPG Australia.”
Vandal was equally excited to work with the UMPG Team, and said she is "psyched to join the Universal publishing family."
