Ed Sheeran to perform at 2015 ARIAs

2015 ARIA Awards Best International Artist Nominee and Australia’s highest selling artist in 2014 and 2015, Ed Sheeran will make a triumphant return to Sydney to perform at the 2015 ARIA Awards Connected By Telstra on November 26, 2015.

Ed Sheeran said, “I’ll see you at the ARIAs, I’ve never been to the ARIAs, I’ve wanted to go every single year, so this is quite exciting.”

Ed Sheeran joins Conrad Sewell, Flight Facilities, Hermitude, Jarryd James, Jessica Mauboy, Nathaniel, Peking Duk, The Veronicas, Tina Arena and Vance Joy, as confirmed performers at the ARIAs.

ARIA CEO, Dan Rosen said: "We are thrilled to welcome Ed Sheeran back to Sydney to join us in celebrating our biggest ARIAs ever. He is one of the world’s most successful and in-demand solo artists and has a special relationship with his Australian fans. We cannot wait to have him grace the ARIA stage."

Voting closes Thursday, November 19, except the Best Australian Live Act category where in an Australian Awards show first, music fans around the country will have the opportunity to vote in the Best Australian Live Act category during the broadcast of the ARIAs, voting closes in this category just before the winner is announced on the night.

General public tickets to the 2015 ARIA Awards Connected By Telstra have SOLD OUT, but fans are encouraged to see Ed Sheeran and all the nominated artists walk the Red Carpet Presented By David Jones at The Star, Sydney from 2.00pm and to watch all the action only on TEN on November 26, 2015 from 7.30pm.

This will be one of the only chances Australian fans can get up close to Ed before he embarks on his Australian stadium tour, making him the first ever musician to perform an Australian and New Zealand stadium tour entirely solo.
