Eleven more Australian and New Zealand acts were among the latest 100 acts announced overnight by the UK’s The Great Escape.
Dubbed “the festival of new music”, where industry figures come from all over the world to check out the latest buzz acts, is this year held May 17, 18 and 19 in Brighton.
The latest ten are, listed alphabetically:
Singer and songwriter and guitarist Alex The Astronaut who next month goes out on a national tour with Stella Donnelly.
Melbourne based Alexander Biggs who grew up in regional Victoria taught classical piano and now signed to Sony Music.
Eves Karydas, the pop artist previously known as Eves the Behaviour, who moved to America three years ago.
Brisbane dream pop merchant Hatchie who’s signed to three international booking agencies.

New Zealand soul singer songwriter Louis Baker who’s already doing a number of UK shows in May.
Sydney rapper Manu Crook$ who began to make his own beats inspired J Cole and acclaimed as “the new face of the new Australian hip hop” because he keeps breaking stereotypes.
Olympia, the art-pop project of singer-songwriter and guitarist Olivia Bartle, who has just completed her next album.
