Sydney producer, DJ and songwriter Elizabeth Rose is now signed for Australia and New Zealand by Midnight Feature.

The Inertia imprint “dedicated to the exhilarating edges of the pop spectrum,” launched last November with WAM Song of the Year winner Kucka.

Inertia has been behind Elizabeth Rose’s releases since her debut EP Crystallise in 2013, which was released through Grizzly Records in the UK.

"I've been working with Inertia since the release of my first EP and I'm excited to be continuing that relationship and to be a part of their new imprint Midnight Feature,” Rose told TMN. “Lots of exciting things are on the way this year!"

After her breakthrough last year with her self-titled EP, released through Inertia, Rose has a new single Another Earth. The track, out Friday March 27, was co-produced with Brooklyn's Chrome Sparks whom she “met” two years ago on Twitter and then caught up with in Brooklyn when she was touring America.

“We wrote the instrumental together in his studio. He is such a cool guy, we got along instantly and the song came about so quickly. It was fantastic," Rose said.

Midnight Feature was founded by Inertia alumni (A&R and Australian music manager) and and Inertia's now-CEO, Colin Daniels.

Speaking to TMN, Dodds said: "We started the Midnight Feature imprint as a home for local artists with global resonance, and nobody embodies that better than Elizabeth Rose. Since we released her first ever single via Inertia Access (its platform for emerging acts) years ago we've been convinced of her unique talent, and we're thrilled to be working with her on her debut album, out later this year."

In February last year Rose inked a worldwide publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Australia.

Friday also sees Rose kick off her three-date 'Discotheque' tour, where she takes in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane supported by hand-picked local and emerging DJ talent.
