Tonight a line-up of Australia’s greatest musicians lead by John Paul Young will join forces to raise funds for Variety - the Children’s Charity at the Enmore Theatre for the first ever Variety Rocks concert.
Among the stellar line up of artists are Angry Anderson, Steve Balbi, Guy Delandro, Casey Donovan, Jeff Duff, Melanie Dyer, Mark Gable, The Voice’s Spencer Jones, Steve Kilbey, Melinda Schneider, Glenn Shorrock, Moving Pictures’ Alex Smith, Rai Thistlethwayte and Mark Williams.
Each of the performers will put their stamp on their favourite Aussie songs in one unforgettable night.
According to CEO of Variety - the Children’s Charity David Sexton, the event provides the opportunity for the group to raise much-needed funds that will go towards the establishment of musical therapy at the Variety Ward at Westmead Children’s Hospital.
"We’re so grateful for the artists that have donated their time to perform," he told TMN.
"It’s because of them that we can promote such a high quality lineup to attract a large crowd supporting Variety and the work we do to give Aussie kids a fair go."
As for what attendees can expect from the evening, Sexton was keeping his cards close to his chest.

"All I can say at this stage is the lineup and the set lists that have been put together will make for an awesome night of Aussie rock."
"The combination of artists on stage will be magic and it’s a night not to be missed!"
The charity aims to deliver music therapy resources to the hospital due to the adaptive nature of the therapy itself, regardless of the child’s age or diagnosis.
The musical therapists work with children who may be experiencing pain, stress or anxiety; require emotional support in adjusting to a chronic illness; require distraction and emotional support during a medical procedure; or benefit from increased motivation for physical movement and rehabilitation.
Tickets are still available via Ticketek.
