Entries are open for the ARIA Emerging Artist Scholarship

Entries are now open for the ARIA Emerging Artist Scholarship Presented by Virgin Australia.

The scholarship was launched in November, and in partnership with Virgin Australia aims to help emerging artists with the burdens of travel both domestically and internationally, in their early careers.

The scholarship is open to any Aussie artist currently represented by a current ARIA member, who has never been nominated for any ARIA Awards category with an Album or Single prior to the 2017 Awards.

The artists also needs to have featured on the ARIA Top 100 Albums Chart or the Top 100 Singles Chart during the 2017 calendar year.

To nominate their aritist, the ARIA member needs to explain their proposed 2018 promotional strategy, inclusive of a US tour plan as well as a few words on how ARIA and Virgin Australia can help to achieve tour plans and ambitions.

Entries must be in by Monday February 5, 2018 - sent to awards@aria.com.au
