In collaboration with event technology platform Eventbrite, Google has launched ‘Events in Search’ for Australian customers.

The initiative provides Aussies with personal recommendations on events from a number of platforms.

There are also suggestions based on preferences and which events are trending.

Phil Silverstone, Eventbrite's general manager for the Asia Pacific, commented on the launch: “Whether you’re in the mood for a live music gig, a yoga class or a theatre show, Eventbrite and Google will help you find a diverse array of live experiences happening in your neighbourhood.

“The launch of this exciting new feature marks the expansion of Eventbrite’s partnership with Google as we continue our quest to connect even more Aussies with the very best live experiences our country has to offer.”

When consumers tap on an event, they get an overview of aspects as time and location to help decide whether to attend.
