Exclusive: Blake to leave Rdio

TMN can reveal exclusively that Colin Blake, Australian and New Zealand head of music streaming service Rdio, has resigned from his position.

Blake, ex-VP of Marketing at Viacom had been in the role at Rdio for almost three years and was a leading voice for the dynamic music streaming space in this market. During his time at Rdio, Blake had also taken on marketing management responsibilities for the International division under the leadership of California-based Scott Bagby, who also resigned from the business last month.

Blake chose not to comment, but his resignation would seem to be another indication of the continual change within the highly competitive and volatile music streaming space.
