After thousands of pre-sale tickets were snapped up for Sam Smith’s The Thrill Of It All Australian and New Zealand tour in November, promoter Frontier Touring has added three more shows.

They are second concerts at Auckland’s Spark Arena (Saturday 3 November), Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena (Tuesday 6 November) and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena (Saturday 17 November).

Tickets for the Grammy winning singer songwriter’s eight dates go on sale from 2pm local time on Monday January 22.

The Thrill Of It All album has sold 2.1 million around the world.

It debuted at #2 in Australia on the ARIA chart and at #1 in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

His debut album In The Lonely Hour from 2014 was certified 5 x platinum in Australia for sales of 375,000.

After having issues with his vocal chords in the past Smith says he cut out alcohol, cheese and spicy food in preparation for his tour.
