The Face The Music conference and showcase is offering a number of generous scholarships by Victorian Government initiatives Music Under Wings and FReeZA, as well as a competition presented by entertainment travel company Stage & Screen.

 

MUSIC UNDER WINGS – REGIONAL PARTICIPATION SCHOLARSHIP

Ten individual (10) scholarships are available to artists and industry practitioners working in any of the creative industries who reside in regional Victoria.

Successful applicants will receive one full summit pass to Face The Music as well as financial support for travel to and from the summit to the value of a VLine/Myki pass.

 

FREEZA SCHOLARSHIP – FOR YOUNG PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH FREEZA

25 of these scholarships are available for those under the age of 25 who have participated in the state-wide FReeZA program, either as performers or event producers or involved in other ways in their local community.

They are for those who showed an active involvement in FReeZA and demonstrated their commitment towards pathways into employment in the music and entertainment industries.

The scholarship covers one full summit pass to Face The Music as well as financial support for travel to and from the summit (if required) to the value of a VLine/Myki pass.

FReeZA Scholarship recipients will also be provided with a one on one ‘Plan Your Career’ meeting with an industry professional.

STAGE & SCREEN – JOURNEY TO FACE THE MUSIC COMPETITION

Stage & Screen offers a Journey To Face The Music Prize to an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island artist or group that reside outside of Victoria to attend and showcase at Face The Music.

The prize includes full summit passes for all members, a showcase opportunity, return flights and two nights accommodation for the artist up to the value of $3,000 and transfers to and from Melbourne Airport.

Applications for the competition closes at 5 pm AEST on Tuesday October 17 at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TXNSXZ9.
