The finalists for the BOQ People’s Choice at the Queensland Music Awards have been announced after two weeks of public voting.
The three categories celebrate “the achievements of Queensland artists who began their careers in the sunshine state and are now taking on the world,” according to organiser QMusic.
The final two artists in each category are listed below:
MOST POPULAR FEMALE
Finalists: Amy Shark & Dami Im

Finalists: Bernard Fanning & Jarryd James
MOST POPULAR GROUP
Finalists: The Veronicas & Cub Sport
The winners will be announced with 24 other category winners at the 2017 Queensland Music Awards on March 27 at the Brisbane Powerhouse in New Farm.
Accolades are also presented for Highest Selling Single, Highest Selling Album and an Export Achievement Award.
Set to perform on the night are Cub Sport, Good Boy, ROMY, Tia Gostelow and Kingfisha.
