FAK HEADER

Produced byTucker Martine (My Morning Jacket, Laura Veirs), First Aid Kit's fourth record Ruins shows the duo are bleeding through music more than ever.

The Söderberg sisters’ recorded the LP in Portland, just after Klara had gone through a breakup. Gloomy melodies, aching intimacy and hushed tones rail against the record's Americana leanings; fiddles, a slide guitar and waltzing country-western grooves.

Aptly set to appear at Bluesfest in Byron Bay this year, First Aid Kit have always proffered the eccentricity we love about Scandinavian music. And with the treasure dive that is Ruins, the pair will not disappoint.
