The Lorne festival, which started in 1993 on its farm, is held on December 29, 29, 30 and 31.

Marion Bay overlooking Southern Tasmania’s coastline, is on December 29, 30 and 31. It’s the second longest running location of the festival, having started in 2003.

The one at North Byron Parklands in Byron Bay (established 2013) sees action on December 31, and January 1 and 2.

There is a venue change for Fremantle WA: which came into the picture in 2016 and this time is staged on January 6 and 7.

Because of the city’s $230 million Kings Square redevelopment into a cultural hub, it moves to the Fremantle Oval Precinct along Parry Street, taking in historic sites, streets, car parks and buildings.
