Frontier Touring scores simultaneous music attendance records

Following a mammoth sold-out RNB Fridays Live show at Hisense Arena over the weekend, Frontier Touring now simultaneously holds the music attendance record for all four of Melbourne & Olympic Parks’ premier venues – AAMI Park, Rod Laver Arena, Hisense Arena and Margaret Court Arena.
 
Frontier Touring Managing Director, Michael Gudinski said; “We pride ourselves at Frontier on delivering the world’s best entertainment to Australia.  It is a huge achievement to hold the four records across these great Melbourne venues and is testament to the quality of the artists involved.”
 
Melbourne & Olympic Parks CEO, Brian Morris said the latest results were an excellent achievement and a testament to the long-standing and rewarding relationship between Frontier Touring and the precinct.

AAMI PARK | Ed Sheeran – AAMI Park, 6 December 2015

Ed Sheeran, the only artist who could leave more than 34,000 fans in awed silence with just a guitar and loop pedal on stage.
 
With his acclaimed X World Tour, Sheeran became the first artist to perform an Australian and New Zealand stadium tour completely solo. It was Sheeran’s second tour of 2015, fresh from performing in front of close to 190,000 fans on a sold-out arena tour in March/April.

ROD LAVER ARENA | Justin Timberlake, 18 November 2007

The fact that Justin Timberlake has held Rod Laver Arena’s concert attendance record for close to a decade is testament to the Grammy-winning performer’s inimitable talent.
 
On the FutureSex/LoveShow tour, Timberlake was joined on stage by an eleven-piece band and crack team of dancers for an absolute masterclass in live performance.

HISENSE ARENA | RNB Fridays Live – 25 November 2016

RNB Fridays Live was the ticket of the season, no surprise with an epic line-up that included ten of RNB’s biggest names: Nelly, TLC, 112, Mya, Montell Jordan, Blackstreet, Blu Cantrell, Fatman Scoop, Dante Thomas and Kevin Lyttle.
 
Concertgoers were treated to live performances of their favourite RNB anthems, plus a playground of fun that included a special pop-up RNB Fridays Live nightclub, karaoke and photobooths amongst so much more.

MARGARET COURT ARENA | Disturbed, 12 November 2016

Hard rock legends Disturbed returned from a five-year hiatus in 2016 with a critically acclaimed new album and ferocious live show. Their world tour landed in Australia and New Zealand earlier this month, with audiences rocked by old favourites lifted from their breakthrough albums alongside new tracks from Immortalized.
 
Notably Disturbed broke the record made only a few months earlier by another Frontier Touring artist, Troye Sivan.
