Hilltop Hoods’ ‘Walking Under Stars’ certified Double Platinum

The HILLTOP HOODS critically acclaimed #1 ARIA Album ‘Walking Under Stars’ has reached Double Platinum status in Australia, heralding yet another milestone for the band. 

Released in August 2014 through Golden Era Records/UMA ‘Walking Under Stars’ is their third consecutive album to achieve double platinum status, joining State Of The Art (2009) and Drinking from the Sun (2012). 

The #1 debuting, Triple J featured, ARIA award winning ‘Walking Under Stars' has spent 17 weeks in the ARIA Top 10 chart and nearly a year in Top 40 chart. It also spawned a series of successful singles including 'Won’t Let You Down Feat. Maverick Sabre', 'Live and Let Go Feat. Maverick Sabre and Brother Ali', and ARIA TOP 5, triple platinum selling 'Cosby Sweater’. 

The band’s first ever Top 5 ARIA Single ‘Cosby Sweater’, joins previous hit singles ‘I Love It feat Sia’ which peaked at #6 (2012) and ‘Chase That Feeling’ which peaked at #8 (2009). The bands videos have now amassed over 21 million YouTube views.  

Following a massive year of sold out tours in Australia, UK, NZ, Europe, US and Canada, the Hoods are setting off to Europe next month for headline shows in Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands and will feature at such festivals as V Festival in the UK.
