PRESS RELEASE:

Australia’s iHeartRadio LIVE 2017 series launches with a special Sydney performance by Canadian pop sensation Alessia Cara in Bondi on Tuesday, February 28.

KIIS Presents iHeartRadio LIVE with Alessia Cara, powered by Optus, is the first of a huge series of live events planned for 2017 giving fans the chance to get closer to the music and artists they love.

Fans can win their way into this money-can’t-buy experience by heading to iHeartRadio.com.au for tickets. One lucky fan will win a trip for two to Sydney and a meet and greet with Alessia Cara. Entries close February 22.

Listen to KIIS 1065’s Kyle & Jackie O show and KIIS 1065 across the day for more chances to secure tickets.

iHeartRadio Australia’s Content Director Brett “Nozz” Nossiter said: “We are stoked to have Alessia kick off our first iHeartRadio LIVE for 2017. The amazingly talented Alessia performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last year, and I’m so glad we can bring her to town to play for her Australian fans!”

Alessia Cara is taking over the world with her fresh face and old soul. Her current single ‘Scars To Your Beautiful’ peaked at #3 in Australia. Her debut album ‘Know it All’ is a standout pop record featuring hit singles ‘Here’ and ‘Wild Things’. Nominated for ‘New Artist of the Year’ at the 2015 American Music Awards, Alessia Cara recently featured in Billboard’s 2017 Grammy Preview issue and partnered with I Am That Girl, the national movement in the US that works to inspire girls to love, express and be who they are.
