Hermitude’s The Buzz featuring Mataya & Young Tapz remains at #1 on the Carlton Dry Independent Singles chart. Although that may come to an end with a surprisingly high debut from a new possible contender, Chet Faker’s Bend, which debuts at #2. Another reasonably strong new entry places at #4 from Nova and the Experience’s Whole Body. Japanese Wallpaper’s Forces featuring Airling sees a jump back into the Top 10 at #7 from #11. The last new debut comes at #12 from The Superjesus’ The Setting Sun.

Hermitude holds #1 on the Radio Play chart too with The Buzz. Chet Faker’s Bend is again set to contest it as it jumps to #2 from #7. Tiger Choir’s Shani sees a break into the Top 6 from #15 while San Cisco’s Magic sees a new peak at #7 from #10. Hermitude sees another track draw closer to the Top 10 this week with Searchlight featuring Yeo move up to #14 from #20, a new peak. One new debut comes in at #16 with What So Not’s Gemini featuring George Maple.

The albums chart sees a stable Top 2 with Seth Sentry’s Strange New Past at #1 and Hermitude’s Dark Night Sweet Light at #2. Chet Faker’s Thinking In Textures returns to the Top 10 at #7 from #12 as does Sticky Fingers’ Caress Your Soul at #9 from #13. One new debut comes in at #15 with Lior’s Autumn Flow – 10th Anniversary Edition while a re-entry comes in at #16 and #20 with Courtney Barnett’s The Double EP: A Sea Of Split Peas and Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu’s Gurrumul at #20.
