independent chart wrap ecca vandal sees her radio chart debut

The Carlton Dry Independent Music Singles chart sees Sia’s Elastic Heart hold #1 for another week. Timmy Trumpet & Chardy’s Hipsta moves up to a new peak of #2 from its debut spot of #3 while Hilltop Hoods’ Cosby Sweater still fights for the top at #3 from #4. At #10 is another track for Hilltop Hoods, a debut from their new single Live And Let Go featuring Maverick Sabre & Brother Ali. One other debut takes place, this one at #18 from Eso (of Bliss N Eso) with Sunny Days.

The Radio Play chart sees a similar Top 3 with Elastic Heart holding #1 but a shift between Vance Joy’s Georgia and Peking Duk’s Take Me Over featuring Safia sees the former hit #2 and the latter drop to #3. Three new debuts take place throughout the Top 20. First at #12 is British India’s Suddenly, followed by Hermitude’s Through The Roof featuring Young Tapz. The last new entry comes from South African-born Aussie Ecca Vandal at #17 with Battle Royal.

The Albums chart sees very little notable change. Sia’s 1000 Forms Of Fear sits at #1 for another week while Hilltop Hoods’ Walking Under Stars moves up to #2 pushing Chet Faker’s Built On Glass down to #3. Dan Sultan’s Blackbird re-enters the Top 10 at #8 from #11 while The Wiggles’ Hot Potatoes! The Best Of The Wiggles sits just outside the Top 10 at #11 from #15.
