PRESS RELEASE:

Inertia has announced the addition of Perth local Fait to its family. Under the guise of Fait, Elise Higgins has captured the imaginations of fans, media and industry with her debut EP ’Atmosphere’; a tale of plunging depths, dizzying heights, rich emotions, subtle nuances and dramatic twists and turns.

’Atmosphere’ was released in May 2014 and produced by Darren Lawson (My Bloody Valentine, White Lies). Since then, Fait had amassed more than 1 million plays on Spotify.

Speaking of the signing, Elise states "I’m really excited to join such a respected and forward-thinking label. I look forward to working with Tim and the Inertia team, and can’t wait to release new music in 2016."

Inertia’s Managing Director Tim Kelly adds “We are thrilled to be working with Fait. Elise is following her own path, passionate, creative and determined, all qualities that we love. And she writes great songs!”

“Solace” marks the first of a new batch of material from Fait, who welcomes in 2016 with a performance at Laneway Festival.

Fait live are Elise Higgins (guitar/keys), Rob Stephens (bass), Mike Antonas (guitar) and Darrell Sundai (drums).
