Lime Cordiale, Dune Rats and a smorgasbord of other Australian artists have teamed up to perform a new song for alcohol delivery service Jimmy Brings, titled Get Jimmy.

The song, which was written by G Flip with support from the Creative Entertainment Agency, features not only Lime Cordiale and Dune Rats, but also Thandi Phoenix, Ruby Fields, Young Franco, Alex The Astronaut, Client Liaison and Polish Club.

“Myself and multiple people in the Aussie music industry were out of work during the pandemic which was tough on our creativity and livelihood," G Flip said.

"I started writing jingles and working on various creative projects as a way to continue being creative and staying positive. When I heard that Jimmy Brings were wanting to support homegrown artists with ARIA’s Our Soundtracks Our Stories, I came up with a concept for an ad and a jingle that could incorporate a heap of my Aussie music mates and get them some work!"

The jingle comes with a visual and culminates in Fields performing the track to a crowd of musos.

Jimmy Brings' head of marketing, Jesikah Boatfield, head of marketing, said it's been a tough couple of years for the local music industry but that there is hope ahead.

"This summer we’re encouraging everyone to have fun and connect with friends again, live in the moment and enjoy some spontaneity. But as much as Get Jimmy is our toast to start the summer of fun that Aussies deserve, it’s also a big cheers to the Aussie artists who have been under pressure from lockdowns."
