Justin Thompson new PD at KIX Country

KIX Country has appointed Justin Thomson as its new Program/ Content Director.

Justin moves from Perth to follow his passion for Country Music broadcasting having spent the past fifteen years creating and presenting specialized programming for the Spirit Radio Network and as weekend presenter on MIX 94.5 in Perth. Justin’s latest two hour weekly program has been heard across Western Australia, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria, showcasing the best Australian and international Country Music.

In the joint  announcement from  Grant Broadcasting’s Group Program Director David Rogerson and KIX General Manager David Greenwood, ‘ The appointment of Justin comes at a very exciting time for the KIX Country brand as the genre enjoys growing listenership and interest across its  Australian network of  49 narrowcast and digital stations. Justin will bring a new dynamic to the product both on-air and on-line and we couldn’t be more pleased to have him join us as a key member of the KIX Team.’

Justin hits the ground running in early January just as KIX Country immerses itself in The Tamworth Country Music Festival, followed by CMC Rocks South East Queensland.
