PRESS RELEASE:
|
Keep Sydney Open’s third rally features an eclectic mix of current and classic acts to highlight the broad support for a safe and vibrant late-night culture in Sydney. Making an appearance will be the ARIA award winner for breakthrough artist of 2016 Montaigne, alongside Hugo Gruzman of Sydney band Flight Facilities. We’re also excited to announce that Mark Callaghan and Graham ’Buzz’ Bidstrup from legendary Aussie band GANGgajang will be performing. More acts and speakers to be announced. The iconic Sydney sweet spot Gelato Messina are also throwing their weight behind Keep Sydney Open, creating a special ’Sydney nightlife choc top’, in reference to the now-infamous "one choc top or two" line from the much-derided State Government campaign about Sydney nightlife. This will be available for sale at the rally. Keep Sydney Open’s third rally takes place this Saturday 18th February at Martin Place from midday. LINK to the Facebook event page.
