Kelly Clarkson cancels Sydney show

PRESS RELEASE:

The Star regret to advise that the Kelly Clarkson show due to take place at The Star Event Centre tonight, May 8th, has been cancelled.

Ms Clarkson’s management regrettably advised this morning that Kelly is suffering from acute viral laryngitis and unable to perform after medical advice to completely rest her voice.

Kelly Clakson said: "Despite resting and taking advice from the doctors, I have not been able to make enough steps in my recovery that would allow me to sing tonight. I'm so sorry to all my fans that have purchased tickets for my show tonight. I’m so bummed that I can’t sing for you after having such a great week back here in Australia; I hope I can make it up to you soon!"

All ticket purchases will be fully refunded (including booking fee) via Ticketek, details as follows:

All Credit Card purchases - Tickets purchased by credit card will be automatically refunded within 7 days.

All Cash & Eftpos purchases - Cash/Eftpos refunds are available at the point of purchase*, Head Office agencies or by post.

*Please note, refunds are not available at Westfield agencies.
