PRESS RELEASE:

Americana rock sensation Key To The Highway took home the coveted 10K residency at last night’s Discovered at Marble Bar live Grand Finale. Hailing from Sydney the polished 5-piece will soon commence their weekly residency at one of Sydney’s most iconic bars.

This year the panel of expert judges were singer songwriter Mahalia Barnes, Rolling Stone Australia publisher Mathew Coyte and industry heavyweight and MD of Inertia Tim Kelly. Tying the night together and making sure everything ran smoothly was the incomparable Danny Clayton on MC duties.

The night saw a record number of punters descend upon Marble Bar with close to 200 people welcomed through the doors. Key To The Highway battled it out against 4 other dynamic and talented acts (Josh Needs, Jeffrey Chan, El Pollo and Fandango) that were selected by the public in the lead up to last night’s grand finale. The public, in conjunction with the expert panel of judges cast their votes and decided on the victorious band.

Last night marked the 5th Discovered at Marble Bar with the first competition taking place in 2012.
