Kylie Minogue’s announcement last Friday night that she will be at the ARIA Awards to induct her pal and rival Tina Arena into the Hall of Fame, lead us to trace her own achievements at the ARIAs. Minogue herself was inducted in 2011. 

She has received 16 ARIA trophies from 39 nominations through the years.

1988 – Highest Selling Single for Loco-Motion

1989 – Highest Selling Single for I Should Be So Lucky 

1989   Special Achievement Award

1990 – Outstanding Achievement Award

1995 – Best Video for Put Yourself In My Place

During her visit, Minogue will also do promotion behind her Kylie Christmas album which was released last Friday. Produced by long time collaborator Steve Anderson, it features duets with James Corden, Iggy Pop, Frank Sinatra and sister Dannii, as well as a new song by Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
