Leo Sayer added to Smoothfm lineup

Grammy award winner Leo Sayer has been added to the all-star smoothfm lineup, fronting his own show from 28 February at 4pm.

Responsible for some of the biggest hits of the 70s and 80s including You Make Me Feel Like Dancing and When I Need You, Sayer will handpick some of his favourite tracks along with a story or two for smoothfm listeners; the perfect addition to a relaxing Saturday afternoon.

“I like this idea that we can speak personally to people - that's what radio is all about. You sit on stage with big audiences, and it can be a fantastic experience. But it's always nice to go one-on-one.

“For my show I've picked out some of my faves - songs like Toto - they used to be my backing band plus Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen,” Leo Sayer said.
