PRESS RELEASE: Little Acorn Music welcomes two new faces to the family. Little Acorn Music is thrilled to announce two new additions to their management roster. Introducing one of Australia’s up and coming producing talents, Kiah Gossner, and indie darling, MANE. Joining the list of talent that Little Acorn takes care of including Adelaide favourites Tom West, WANDERERS and Taasha Coates, it’s definitely a sign that the city of churches is the place to watch right now. After quite a jam packed 2016 that included releasing her debut EP ’House of Horror’, touring nationally and wining SA’s Best Female & Most Popular Pop artist, it’s no surprise that MANE has started 2017 off with announcing slots at both WOMADelaide and Nannup Festival. With numerous reviews touting her as one to watch, MANE has hinted at new music coming soon, and will continue to deliver the ’Skillfully blends pop & blues with smoky vocal stylings’ she’s become recognised for. Gossner has forged himself a name on the Australian scene as a highly sought after creator and collaborator His work is known from his multiple national and international tours with various Australian acts, as well as countless recording credits that include: Oisima, Bearded Gypsy Band, Flamingo, Kaurna Cronin & Conchillia. We would like to congratulate him on his recent appointment as Producer/Engineer at one of Australia most prestigious studios: Mixmasters (recently award ’Best Studio’ at the SA Music Awards).
To be kicking 2017 off with the addition of these two talents, is a expansion Little Acorn Music’s director Sian Walden had only dreamt of when setting up her business in artist services a few years back. Now following a stand out 2016 herself, including a place at The Seed Management Fund and a placement as an Robert Stigwood Industry Fellow (an Arts South Australia funded program for mentoring & professional development ), Walden is keen to expand and keep highlighting the talent in SA, saying ’I’m so thrilled to be adding these guys to the Little Acorn family, I’m incredibly proud of their work and am really excited to see what we can achieve together. The level of talent coming out of Adelaide right now is just phenomenal’ |
