PRESS RELEASE:

Liberation Music and Mushroom Music Publishing are very excited to welcome Sydney indie-electronic trio Mansionair to the family.

Jack Froggatt, Lachlan Bostock and Alex Nicholls are Mansionair, and since forming in January 2014, have garnered quite a following.  Their first single, ‘Hold Me Down’ has amassed a phenomenal 10 million+ views on YouTube, 2 million+ plays on Soundcloud and peaked at #1 on Hype Machine upon release.

The boys have spent the better part of this year playing live shows across the globe.  They performed a handful of praised shows at SXSW, along with headline gigs at the Mercury Lounge in New York and Baby's All Right in Brooklyn.  Locally, they played St. Jerome's Laneway Festival, their own debut, multi-date, sold-out headline tour and most recently, they supported alt-J in arena-sized venues. They have also supported the likes of Banks, Broods and The Temper Trap to rave reviews.

The teams at Liberation Music and Mushroom Music Publishing are extremely chuffed to be working with the talented act and are eager to release new music later in the year.  And none more so than Michael Gudinski himself.

“I’ve personally been excited by Mansionair since the first time I heard them and after just seeing them support ALT-J I’m very excited about their future and welcome them to the Liberation label and Mushroom Music Publishing.” – Michael Gudinski

In addition to these signings, Mansionair have also just inked a deal with Glassnote Records for North America, the UK and Europe, joining a roster that includes Mumford & Sons, CHVRCHES, The Temper Trap, Phoenix and more.

They are managed by Danny Rogers and Campbell McNeill at Lunatic Entertainment.
